We are incredibly proud of our China’s trainers, who have successfully conducted two ICOE courses recently. Both courses were conducted in partnership with the Committee on Simulated Medicine of Chinese Hospital Association.
The first course was the ICOE trainer course, which was held on 25th and 26th February 2023 at the West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University. We are delighted to see 3 dedicated master trainers delivering the training to 15 delegates.
The second course was the ICOE trainee course which happened at the same hospital on 4th and 5th March 2023. With online supervision by the master trainers, 8 trainers were responsible to teach 20 participants various skills in obstetric emergencies, including ventouse and forceps delivery, non-surgical management of postpartum haemorrhage and so on. The participants came from four different provinces in the West and Northeast of China.
